@acidyo lets worry less and be happy more? SOM is older than HIVE, has proof of time.
I didn't make or engineer the brilliant code for School of Minnows, support minnows so part of this great minnows support and community.
We on a decentral network, more we, more us, more our, more community?
@hivebuzz has the same comment for post, based on "their own thing" so based on the logic that is also spam?
@hivebuzz doesn't give upvotes for their notices either?
This is a SOM once off notice per user not spammed on every post, it only shows once while @hivebuzz spams a lot more often, have they been giving warningings by HIVE whales and witnesses too?
I liked your suggestion to @lanmower of updating the HIVE bio that was more constructive and encouraging, lets rather work together, what can you suggest for the once off notice?
Please look closer at the proof.
Thanks
Hivebuzz offers a way for users to opt out by replying with STOP, others asking you guys not to are instead met with questions as to why, etc from what I saw at a quick glance...
I just don't really see what you guys have to offer, not sure what u think is so brilliant about the code but if all you do is ask people to jump on your trail and throw votes on whoever is on it it's nothing else than trading votes where at some point you'll use part of them for your own gain. Have seen that happen over and over, there doesn't seem to be any curation going on from what I can see.
Instead of just spamming people with the same comment over and over you could take the time to actually read the posts, find posts where people are not getting rewards that you then can help with curation and then maybe suggest them to join the trail as that's how you're going to use the votes. Not just spray randomly all over the chain and see what bites and in turn start off on the wrong foot with many users who've been around and have seen many similar projects quickly go to the dark side who started off similarly get annoyed by you.
"Hivebuzz offers a way for users to opt out by replying with STOP" @hivebuzz makes the notice before asking for permission, only a once off so no repeat notices like @hivebuzz, no need to opt out of anything.
"I just don't really see what you guys have to offer, not sure what u think is so brilliant about the code but if all you do is ask people to jump on your trail and throw votes on whoever is on it it's nothing else than trading votes where at some point you'll use part of them for your own gain. As mentioned its for minnow support, you've seen it over and over but we are older than HIVE? We have a discord with over thousand members (invite was shared with you), content is self curated, we went through #hivewatchers and @guiltyparties and @spaminator. We've asked them to let us know of any abuse within the school.
If you have no proof to these claims it is just speculation on your past experiences, as mentioned please take a closer look at the proof.
"Instead of just spamming people with the same comment over and over you could take the time to actually read the posts"
Just like @hivebuzz? We read and reply to posts, we reblog posts, we share #postpromotions on discords. This is first and only notice for @schoolofminnnows, we are helping minnows out there, this is another way to reach them for support.
Is the notice like spam because you find it the same? @hivebuzz has diveristy in their notices, maybe we need to create more some diveristy of notice?
"many similar projects quickly go to the dark side", we've been going for longer then HIVE if you check the blockchains.
Speak to some of the minnows we have helped, no need to speculate when can access the proof.
That account just started spamming again after years of just getting cheetah replies for spamming. I don't really know how you expect someone to know more about it other than what they see at first glance but there is absolutely no proof that it does any curation or leaves any meaningful comments to others other than trying to get them to read a post and join a discord.
You saying you're older than Hive doesn't mean anything here, many accounts are and most here consider this place to be the real original chain that actually remained decentralized and didn't steal people's funds so it's pretty much the only blockchain that exists today of its kind if you want to call it a blockchain and what that word entails.
A tree that is still there is stronger than a tree that isn't still there?
I see the perspective your trying to share from the forest @acidyo, harder to see when you in it.
A SOM curation concept with documentation and onboarding around content creation sounds like a great idea! 🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟
Thanks for the advice and patience, will see what value can be added within this direction.
Cheers
