Although I prefer black and white photography, sometimes there is no doubt that color becomes the main protagonist of an image. In Cuba, colors sometimes explode with incredible force. Brightly colored vintage cars, blue, red, and yellow skies. Clouds with a texture that makes them look almost rideable. It is simply breathtaking.
The worn facades of colonial buildings, with their peeling layers of paint, create a fascinating contrast with the vibrant colors of everyday life. On every corner, a red bicycle, a green door, or laundry hanging in intense hues remind us that in Cuba, color is not just seen but felt. It is a visual spectacle that seems designed to be photographed.
And when the sunset light bathes the streets, the magic multiplies. Golden reflections in puddles, silhouettes outlined against a burning sky, turn any scene into a living painting. Sometimes, although my heart belongs to black and white, there is no choice but to surrender to the chromatic explosion of this land.

Aunque prefiero la fotografĂa en blanco y negro, a veces no cabe la menor duda de que el color se convierte en el protagonista principal de una imagen.
