Krueng Teunom is the longest river in Aceh Jaya. The flow of this river also comes from the direction of Tangse, Pidie. We took this trip with some friends. The trip to get here was discussed a few days before departure. Krueng Teunom, also has a very beautiful attraction.
After traveling a few hours from Banda Aceh to Teunom, that night we had time to stay at one of the houses in Lhok Geulumpang whose owner is the Head of the Tourism Office in Aceh Jaya.
Arriving at the spot where we took shelter, something amazed me. Right in front of us setting up the tent there was a small waterfall that fell directly from the flow of the waterfall above it. This waterfall continues to flow from the stream of water that continuously falls from above and directly flows along the river in Krueng Teunom.
Embun Waterfall (Ceuraceu Eumbon in Acehnese). Climbing some rocks and holding strong wooden roots, our curiosity is getting higher, what the waterfall looks like. A few minutes later we arrived at our destination, a place where we put our curiosity and finally paid off when we saw a stream of water falling from a height and width that amazed us. This waterfall is like dewdrops and like water foam scattered here and there to make the surrounding area moist. This is one of the beauties that exist in Krueng Teunom Aceh Jaya, a location that most people do not know is in the middle of the forest that covers this beauty.
