hi JJ, oh my goodness those are massive chunks of ice! When we were up in our large woodland a couple of weeks ago, the ponds were iced over and the ice was about an inch thick... definitely still too thin to walk on, but these clumps look pretty serious material...I'd still stay clear of frozen over ponds and lakes though... I mean I'd love to see them and skim stones over them etc hehe but never ever trust them to walk over! Nice little walk you did - seems like its warming up nicely your side of the world too!

And then I still fought sleep for a couple more hours trying to catch up on some blogs !LOLZ ... oh well... I think I shot at a perspective that makes the ice chunks look a lot bigger than they were :) \I am also very cautious on walking on frozen lakes, sometimes the ice can look a lot thicker and stronger than it really is

I didn't want to be flouting any community rules... it's been a while since I had the chance to post a Wednesday Walk but I have a few days off from work so have been able to get some writing done this week too!
