Hello Hive friends! What’s up?
Today we went to Opatija.This is 20 minutes away from our apartment.So i decided to take some pictures and story about them.:)
~MAIDEN WITH THE SEAGULL-this is the most famous statue on Opatija. Girl extend her arm to a gull.
~SUMMER GARDEN - a place where you can drink some coffe , some good music and with some views.
~THE WALL OF FAME- the wall of portraits famous people.All of them were either born in Opatija or visited the Croatian coastal town like:

One space is empty in the row so that tourists can become part of the picture. It says "I was in Opatija too!!!"
~UĆKA TUNNEL-PEČNIK-Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 55 min to complete. This trail is great for birding, hiking, and running, and it's unlikely you'll encounter many other people while exploring. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit . I just take a pictures of view .
~WALK OFF FAME-was launched in 2005 as a symbolic to all the people whose sporting, scientific, cultural or artistic endeavours have contributed significantly to the worldwide promotion of Croatia:

And than we go to Island Krk. We first stopped at Soline beach, where you can swim in the mud. Unfortunately, we didn't take pictures because we were covered in mud from head to toe.
Then we went to one of the most beautiful beaches on the Island of Krk. Named Oprna bay.It was a great adventure. First you need to find a parking place on the side of the road. The view is marvellous from up there. Then you have to make your way down to the beach (there are several routes) but it’s a quite hard walk, rocks are slippery and it’s hot, I was carrying quite a lots of stuff which made it a bit harder. It’s a 10-15 minutes walk. Once you reach the beach it’s very beautiful the water is clean and suitable for snorkelling. It was not too crowded by the time we were there. There is one “bar” where you can buy sandwiches and drinks.
Overall it’s a great experience, will definitely go back again.
