In the second report I show the approach of the Transall C-160.
Im zweiten Bericht zeige ich den Anflug der Transall C-160.
Approach over Neuburg / Anflug über Neuburg
Like the four-man squadron, the Transall flew towards the airport from Neuburg.
Wie bereits die Vierer-Staffel flog die Transall aus Richtung Neuburg auf den Flughafen zu.
After an elegant big curve the airport was flown over.
Nach einer eleganten großen Kurve wurde der Flughafen überflogen.
In the eagerness I had forgotten to switch the exposure time to propeller planes. At 1/320 of a second it looks like the propellers are stopped, but they don't.
Im Eifer hatte ich vergessen die Belichtungszeit auf Propellerflugzeuge umzustellen. Mit 1/320 Sekunde schaut es aus als würden die Propeller stehen, was sie aber nicht tun.
"Goodbye Tour" can be read on the 50 + 40, at the end of the year the last of these types will be retired and we will not see them again.
"Goodbye Tour" ist auf der 50+40 zu lesen, Ende des Jahres werden auch die letzten dieser Art ausgemustert und wir werden sie nicht wiedersehen.
A small section of the people at the fence who were tightly packed with ladders and cameras and captured every moment of this historic moment.
Ein kleiner Ausschnitt der Menschen am Zaun die dicht gedrängt mit Leitern und Kameras ausgerüstet jeden Moment dieses historischen Momentes eingefangen haben.
The very last approach before landing, this time with moving propellers.
Der allerletzte Anflug vor der Landung, diesmal mit bewegten Propellern.

Its an amazing opportunity and photography seems like exhibition of all camera expertise on the occasion of 60th anniversary of those aircraft base.
The exposure time make helps to stop the propeller, the colour of plane looks good and all the photography for the 60th anniversary of air base was awesome.
Amazing camera! It could see so far away!! I need one too! My eye sight is not so good today! Too many hours at the computer!
