Got out for a quick cross-country ski today, for some exercise. It was an incredibly windy day at the lake, the water splashing on the boulders was looking nice so I decided to get out the camera and take a few photos. The wind was blowing the water droplets onto the front of my lens, and my lens cloth became rather wet, fairly quickly, so I didn't get to take that many photos. But one "keeper" was good enough for me. I was pretty happy with it!
Thanks for looking and I hope you all had a great day!

The sight is really beautiful, which country is it located in.
How did you get this close to take the shot are you not scared😮
It's the US. In California. Shot with a 24-105 mm lens, so I was able to zoom in a bit and not worry about getting wet. Glad you like that sight!
Is it your first time taking this kind of shot?
Wow
Lovely is an understatement here
It is really beautiful
Glad you like that @rafzat!
The sight and view is really looking so so beautiful
It's hard to go wrong with a Donner Lake view. Glad you like that!
You managed to catch the splashes very successfully!
Thank you! Many photos were taken and only two were looking good. This one was the better of the two.
I so much love the quality of this photo I must confess
Thank you @precab! It was a quality moment.
The photo looks great to me, the white clouds just add to it.
Glad you like that! And yes, it was nice to have those puffy white clouds.
The photo shows crashing waves and I could see a little bit of snow on the rocks over there. Did I mention the contrasting colours of the skies, white and blue. Very beautiful.
Glad you like all that!!!
Great shot. Cool to see the waves with the snow backdrop on the mountains 👍
Thank you @steven-patrick!!! It was an incredibly beautiful day. Even though the wind was a bit much... At least it made for a nice photo.
What a beautiful scenery! The video is great, but that photo is stunning!
Thank you! It was fun to get that photo.
Very beautiful and charming place looks much better in pictures than in video.
The magic of capturing a single frame.
Yeah.
I love the water splashing on the boulder, the sprinkles of snow on the mountain and the serenity that's always a part of Nature.
Beautiful photos.
Thank you! It was a beautiful moment out there.
Windy but very bright and sunny day! It looks like you had a lot of fun!
The wind added to the beauty that day. It's always fun to get out with the camera!
