I got out for a big snowshoe hike yesterday in a little bit of fresh snow up near Donner Summit, in the Truckee, California area. Of course, I brought my camera. I rarely leave home without it. Many photos were shot on my journey, however, this photo below is the only one that really excited me. It was the only one that made the cut for my website. I find it to be kind of simple, but kind of cool. What do you think of it?
Shot with the Canon R5 MarkII and a 24-105mm lens, set at 105mm. The ISO was 100, the camera's shutter speed was 1/320 of a second, and the lens aperture was f/22. Handheld, no lens filters.
Oh, and of course this selfie below was a keeper too... 😜
Thank you for looking, and I hope you all have a great day!

Very minimalistic, but beautiful at the same time
Yup! It was a pretty cool scene to stumble upon.
She is incredible, good job mate
It's like an avalanche has risen and is coming at you!
The selfie looks very cool! Very large lens! How do you hold it?
It does look like an avalanche, indeed! But it's just a cloud.
Two hands if I'm actually shooting. And a fast shutter speed. A tripod works best but I decided not to take one with me on that hike.
Wow, what an amazing shot, the pile of white clouds is like a fortress, calm and peaceful. It looks majestic.
Thank you! Yes, it was very cool to see those clouds.
Like it!
@sjarvie5 Great to hear! It was a pretty cool sight to see.
