Currently, in Indonesia, the sun is radiating its maximum heat. As one of the places closest to the equator, Sumatra Island is not spared from the intense heat caused by the scorching sun. Nevertheless, despite the sweltering weather, I have decided not to linger in the cool air-conditioned room. It bores me!
This island, with all its allure, offers many beautiful places worth exploring. I choose to spend my holiday engaging in healthy and refreshing activities: evening jogging. While strolling, I cannot resist capturing the surrounding beauty through photography.
And this photo was taken in a residential complex when I took a momentary break from my jog due to my accelerated heartbeat, hehe.
To enhance the photography while jogging, I also run along a scenic trail that adds colorful attractiveness to the view. The natural beauty arouses my senses, filling my lungs with freely flowing fresh air.
Not far from my jogging spot, there is a small hill that offers an extraordinary panorama. I pause for a moment to savor the beauty that unfolds before me. From the hilltop, I can see stretches of paddy fields, scarecrows, fishponds, and small huts down below. The sunlight creates mesmerizing shadows amidst the gaps between the trees, forming an invaluable work of natural art.
Occasionally, a gentle breeze blows, providing a refreshing touch to my sweaty body. For a moment, I feel tranquility and comfort amidst the bustling city. In this moment, I feel connected to nature, with all its grandeur, of course.
I know that within this scorching heat, there are still many beauties waiting to be explored. I am confident that this experience will become an unforgettable memory, a hot day in the equator that I will cherish.
