A little mouse at the workplace, just like in the movie The Green Mile.

Today at work, I had some nice company.
A little sweet house mouse, to whom I gave a piece of cheese cracker, and a bit later I felt something climbing up my pants.
The little guy had apparently decided to get to know me better, climbing almost all the way up to my knee.
Just as I grabbed my phone to take a picture, he ran away.
The poor thing is still scared.

I immediately remembered the movie The Green Mile, which made me cry a lot, especially when they executed the main character, alongside Tom Hanks, the big man who was wrongly accused and sentenced to death, even though he was innocent.
He was sent by God and had divine powers. He had a little mouse that he saved, bringing it back to life after one of the evil prison guards killed it, and the mouse lived for many, many years after that.

I still remember the film and the big black actor who, despite being so large, strong, and imposing, had a heart softer and bigger than any human.
It's always hard for me to watch, even though I know it’s just a movie.
Sadly, I believe that actor passed away a year or two ago in real life.

Now I’m trying, bit by bit, to tame this little mouse and bring him home, put him in his future little house, and feed him every day, because otherwise, someone might kill him on purpose.
Unfortunately, many people don't like mice, but I love all living creatures.

I hope I succeed in this. Keep your fingers crossed for me.
