Christmas atmosphere in my home

Here’s a little glimpse into my Christmas spirit, which has just started to come together.

This was about a week ago when I went to the store to find a suitable tray, board, or something similar to create a base for my Advent candles. I found a board I liked, and immediately envisioned in my mind how it should look once completed.

After buying it, I also picked up star-shaped, white, tiered candles with little stars on them, which I’ll light each week, naturally from the largest to the smallest.

When I got home, I prepared everything: a hot glue gun, glue sticks, white and red sand that I also bought from the same store, along with some greenery to place around the edges of the arrangement.
Everything else I already had.

The pine cones, which I collected myself, were sprayed with artificial snow spray, and the small baubles are ones I’ve had for two years now.
Each year, I come up with something new to do with them.

While gluing the greenery onto the future Advent centerpiece, I accidentally pressed too hard, and the glue spilled over, sticking to my finger, leaving me with a burn on my thumb—haha! But that didn’t stop me.
I had to finish it because the first Advent candle was to be lit the next day, and nothing could deter me.

Little by little, and in under an hour, it was done.

I was satisfied, and so was my wife when she came home from work and saw it, along with the table and the festive chair covers I had prepared in Christmas style.

I adore this time of year, and it reminded me that about a month ago, I ordered Christmas curtains online, which I finally put up as well.

I’m overjoyed with how everything turned out, and I hope you’ll like it too.

This is just the beginning. In the coming days, I’ll start decorating the house, the yard, the bedrooms, and so on.

Wishing you a pleasant day, and for those in the evening, a cozy night, dear friends!
