Today's small family challenge

Today was one of those memorable days. I started with a seemingly simple task – assembling a new wardrobe for the children's room.
The work began quite well, and everything was going according to plan until I accidentally injured myself.
I have to admit, it wasn't serious, but enough to make me stop working and tend to the injury.

As if that wasn't enough, shortly after, the power went out. Initially, I didn't know the reason, but soon I found out that a nearby fire had caused the power outage.
Without electricity, the air conditioning wasn't working, and it was a scorching 37 degrees outside.
Working in such conditions became impossible, so I had to wait.

The fire was quite serious, so it was being extinguished by three Canadair planes and 90 firefighters with 11 vehicles.
I managed to take a few photos of the Canadair planes as they flew over my house. The fire came dangerously close to the houses, but our good and brave firefighters managed to bring it under control.
When the firefighters finally put out the fire and the power was restored, I could continue working on the wardrobe. After much effort and sweat, I finally managed to assemble the wardrobe completely and place it in the children's room.

Additionally, we decided to disassemble the old wardrobe and carry it from the third floor to the yard.
The plan is to reassemble it there and place it in one of the old rooms.
It wasn't easy to carry such a large piece of furniture down the stairs, but with a bit of patience and coordination, we managed to transport it safely.

Since this wardrobe is wider than the previous one, I had to remove a shelf and make new holes in the wall. As the house is made of concrete and stone, it was a bit more difficult, but I still managed to do it.

In the midst of all this work, our cat Loky decided to add a bit of fun to the situation. He comfortably settled on the boards of the new wardrobe, obviously pleased to be able to disrupt the work.
We had to carry him along with the boards, which added a comical touch to the whole process.
Despite all the obstacles and interruptions, we managed to have some laughs and jokes, which made everything easier.

All in all, the day was full of challenges but also successes.
In the end, the feeling of satisfaction when I saw the assembled wardrobe in the children's room was priceless.
This day showed me that, despite the obstacles, with persistence and a bit of humor, any task can be successfully completed.
