I got a little lost on my current trip to the north - chasing the elusive winter, hunting the Northern Lights (even quite successful), and that sort of thing. When I return home, I will try to immediately return to my photo blog here - I miss it a little :)
Well, today there are a few photos of views from a hidden meadow somewhere near the Batura glacier.
In addition to the meadow itself, (more photos of which, as well as the whole walk and the rest of the days of the trip to Pakistan, can be found here), in the little hidden valley there were those pretty coniferous trees in the form of cones, sometimes with something like a stand, which we saw earlier on the way to the shepherd's village of Yashpert.
And there were also overflowing melt water from the mountains - in fact, they looked just like huge puddles near the moraine ridge. It was not possible to swim in them, but it was quite possible to practice catching the reflection of the terrain around.
And yes, a little note: contrasting mountains are much better and more beautifully reflected in the water and look in the shot than monochromatic trees, which also merge somewhat with the background :)
Yes, I did not succeed in photographing masterpieces that day, but with the proper desire and persistence in looking for angles, such photographs with reflections can turn out to be very interesting. The main thing is to practice and not be afraid of puddles :)

Very beautiful mountain landscapes. looks like a harsh special habitat. is this a riverbed? or why is there not grass growing?

It’s not that the riverbed, but in this place the stream of water flows from the mountains and the water covers the land. I think that the grass does not grow for this very reason - since there is a gorgeous grass growing very close here, where it is still very possessive, but there are no constant puddles. This can be seen in the enlarged photo:
