Sometimes I like to take such sunset shots — bright, but at the same time laconic and simple. Only deep color and very few objects: a sun disk and a few silhouettes or lines.
Here, for example, these are the lines of hills. The valley lying between them is barely visible in the foggy haze.
And here, in addition to the sun, there is only the horizon and several lines, stripes on the water, reflecting light in different ways due to ripples on the water surface. And, if you look closely, three silhouettes of flying birds. They are more visible if you look at the photo in a larger size.
Of course, to make such shots, I need a telephoto lens with a long focal length. Otherwise, the sun will be too small, and too many things will get into the picture, and it will no longer be so clean, harmonious. Fortunately, I often carry it with me on trips :)
The first shot is brighter and more contrasting, while the second one is more gentle and calm. But in my opinion, both look harmonious. And which one do you like better?
It's better to watch the photo in high resolution.

Both photographs look amazing and the first one feel like if you can pass over these hills you will get to the sun. I think that all sunset photos look very mystic.
Thank you very much!
Yes, exactly - it seems to me too that the sun is right behind the hill, just reach out your hand :)
very beautiful how you managed to capture those lines of nature. I congratulate you.
Thanks a lot! Glad to hear that :)
