📷 Remembering Iceland

in Photography Lovers4 years ago (edited)

When I think of Iceland, something like such landscapes comes to mind (in addition to beautiful waterfalls, of course :)). Low mountains and volcanoes on the horizon, dark or even black earth and sand, undersized vegetation. Wide deserted spaces.

When I am in the city, I often miss this feeling of primeval nature. After a while, I want to leave home and go at least somewhere, albeit for a short time.

By the way, I noticed lately that I began to like wider, panoramic photos (not only mine, but in general), like the one below. Especially live, printed and hung on the wall. If on a computer, then I look at them in full screen. So it looks somehow more harmonious :) Therefore, I now often merge my photos into panoramas.

What proportions do you like in photographs or may be paintings?

These photos were taken somewhere not far from Lake Frostastaðavatn.

It's better to watch the photo in high resolution.
