Good Morning photography world and Hive Family, today's feature is the Snowy Egret, also known as Egretta Thula is a small white Heron. I've read that these birds are protected because they had very small numbers left but they have been bounced back. I can confirm that because their are a lot of them at all my local lakes and all the babies are now starting to come out of the nests. Pretty cool to see the big ones in trees with ten nests because they all stick together it appears. They breed up here in North America but in the lower states but are all from the lower states down to South America. I have many more of these in my photo collection but here are some of my favorites. I have two types of shots, with more light and then darker and honestly not sure what ones I like better. The color in the light is nice but I do tend to like the darker images out of the collection. If anyone is reading this, let me know your favorite shot out of all the photos I have posted. I always welcome the feedback, it helps me keep it going and I like to get any idea of what others like and appreciate. So sit back and enjoy the shot's, as well as my conversation if any feedback is left. Have a blessed one.
This shot is when I first starter doing bird shots and before I had purchased my Canon Telephoto lens. The Claws for me set this shot off and obviously the color pops.
This one was at another lake and it was just eating away at the smaller fish, the reflection sets this one off in my opinion.
This shot right here was again the same bird as the top and at the same time. Love it when the head feathers start to fro out.
One of my nice reflection shots of the White Egret and was before I had my telephoto lens.
This one right here kept bothering an older lady while she was eating her lunch at the lake bench, it seems that the feathers stand up as she kept swiping it to move away because it was trying to eat her food. Kinda funny actually because the Egret wouldn't leave her alone.
A dark head shot and this for sure is a favorite of mine, I like the darkness to this one right here as he is scoping out the water to catch some food.
I haven't got to many in flight ones that I like, the white really throws off the shots on the few I have but this ones wings pops and I do like it a lot.
Anyways appreciate everyone feedback if you have enjoyed my shots and post today' thanks for stopping by, Have a blessed one and thank you for coming in and checking out my shot of the day. Stay tuned and enjoy my future shots in the world of photography, thru my lens.
nice photo my friend what kind of camera do I use
Thanks, I use a Canon 60D, its older but a solid old camera. It's really about the lens too, the Canon 400mm telephoto lens is awesome. You cant go wrong with Canon or Nikon, even Sony. I'm definitely ready for an upgrade though.
