Good evening Hive family and all the photographers lovers around the world, what I have here for you all tonight are some more new shot's of one of my favorite birds to capture, the Vermilion Flycatcher. This will be my second post on such an awesome bird and such a great time spending the day with it. Unfortunately I only got two sessions with little guy, it is a male and they had some kind of function at the ball fields that it must of not liked it and took off to another destination. Such a rare bird to see here and glad I got many shots this time for only being my second time witnessing this bird in action in the two years I have been doing all this birding. In this post I suppose I will do what I got for the in flight shots and maybe some other perched shots too, since I did get a lot of them and they need to be shared here today. I do hope to see one again some day but for now this is what I got, the cover shot, the image above is my favorite shot for sure. In this shot here, this guy was on the best perched tree I saw and I was clicking my shutter button fast and got him flying off right at the right time, this is when you feel like you got a good shot because if it fly's and then you start clicking most likely it will already be out of your camera view, they are always fast off the perch. So getting this was pretty epic and I am pretty happy with the results here. Now even though this shot is my favorite one, I still think I needed to get better, that's why I have went five times back to that location but still the bird was gone. Maybe another day but at the least I got something to show for, for all my hours put in on this little guy. In the next shot below, its another good one but I don't really like that it is flying of a football goal post, soccer to Americans, haha. Random but I am American, and to me it is Football, not soccer. Anyways another cool shot of this guy taking off though, I hope to get better another day, another shoot and more time on a bird like this.

In this shot here, it is the last one, I think this is actually the only three shots I got in flight on this Vermilion Flycatcher, not enough for me but it was so hard with that new lens but not enough reach like I like but I rather be shooting than not, with any lens. This one is cool here too but I hope one day I can get better detail, even though I know how hard it is with their color and how the Sun hits off them. Anyways I hope you all enjoy this anyway, glad you came through my blog today, I appreciate it always. Have a blessed one to all.

Impressive shots. Clearly this beauty was afar but your lenses got the best of it. What camera and lens where you using for this.

Thanks appreciate it. I have an older Canon 60D DSLR with a 300mm lens, my 400mm lens broke.
