Hello hivers, an happy Thursday to you all!
This morning, finally, the Sun is shining on the sky and the weather is warm enough to enjoy a walk along the side of the river close to my home.
Later, after the lunch, I have to go to an exciting meeting with a very special art class. One of my friend works as art therapist for young people affected by Down syndrome and she asked me to spend a couple of hours with them to talk about my artworks and to work with them to create something inspired by one of my piece. As you can understand, I'm excited and happy to do it and I'll tell you more tomorrow.
Coming back to the theme of this content, this morning I was walking close to the river with my camera (a Nikon Coolpix B700) in my bag and so I took some pics of a beautiful redstart (Phoenicurus phoenicurus) who are flying from branch to branch in that beautiful corner. You can see that beautiful small bird in the following pics:
It's common to see this kind of bird in my area and some of them use to come also in my backyard, but it's not simple to take some pics of them because they fly away every time I try to do it. 😁 It's a small bird and, even if in these pics you can't see it, it has a orange-red tail (I could see its tail while it was flying not so far from me).
See ya soon and stay safe,
Silvia
