Sunset Rewind

Here is a sunset I observed yesterday from finish to start.

This was the last photo I took. The cloud haze really damped the color to create a nice filter on the sunlight.

Here the sun is a bit higher and is peaking through two different cloud layers. The robins also decided to fly along in this shot looking for spots to perch for the night.

Here the bottom of the sun is emerging from the top layer of clouds creating a nice half circle.

I thought this was the last I would see of the sun that day as it submerged into the top layer of clouds.

Just a bit higher than before.

With more sunlight my camera introduced warm colors into the file. The little dragonfly on the lower left caused the picture to be slightly fuzzy.

I zoomed my camera out a bit and the colors got cooler again. My zoom lens created a sun spot reflection on one of the glass lenses inside.

I had to play with some branch silhouettes against the bright sunlight.

p8062180_copy.jpg
Fully zoomed in the camera makes everything red and high contrast.

Now I zoomed out a to get more of the scene and the warm colors stayed towards the center of the image. If I was good at oil painting I would use this to try and render some clouds by underpainting a blue color then doing edge highlights in orange and white.

That's all for now. Thanks for looking :-)

Once again, you have shown us how nature evolves using the cloud. Superb shots to feed the eyes.

I was totally surprised to see the sun re-emerge underneath the first cloud.

Wow, these are amazing pictures and nice shots again and again. I wish I could over there.

Here is where the sunset happened earlier in the day . p8062177.jpg

I love your sunset photos, this specific one was quite unique. Did you edit the photos so that in the first photos the color of the sun would be more opaque (I mean, not so bright)?

The color was more opaque because of the low horizon line and more humidity at the groundline. Also once less light was in the sky my camera probably introduced more blue into the images.

Loved the last one. It's lovely!

It just needs a nice bird silhouette on the edge of the tree line.

Wow what an amazing Photography ❤️

Thanks for looking, sunsets are fun to play around with on the camera.

Yeah you're right 😊 but all of your photos were excellent superb❣️❣️

Amazing landscape shot 🔥

Good view, good pictures

Sunsets have been nice here lately.

Sunrise is nice too but I always end up sleeping in too late to take a picture of it lol.
