Beetles Mating Photography

in Photography Lovers2 years ago (edited)

Hi Everyone :)

Back again with me @sleepybae who is always excited to share photography results with all my friends in this community, in this post I share a macro photography object of two pairs of different types of beetles mating that I accidentally saw while looking for an object small for macro photography.

Talking about photography is a hobby that can be said to be difficult if we are not passionate in that field, I do it because of my hobby and passion and always learn to get good and interesting images and objects to look at.

Discussing the mating beetle, I found out that the beetle I photographed was a species called Henosepilachna sparsa - source, an ordinary type of beetle that has a unique name in Indonesia, called the koksi beetle or ladybug. These koksi beetles can be found in many places and generally, I see them on the leaves or grass either in groups or individually. What I photographed this time happened to be the beetles mating, it could be seen from the movement they were doing.

Then, I saw a pair of nettle Weevil that were mating, I saw that they were both silent on the leaves and ignored me taking the picture, this species has a scientific name Phyllobius pomaceus - source which has a size of about 5 to 7 mm.

Taking pictures of small objects is an exciting hobby for me, and it also takes patience to get maximum results, because using a smartphone camera and a macro lens, the distance of the object to be taken must be close and when we want to take a picture, we must be calm so that the object is not disturbed by our presence.

That's my post this time and hopefully it can provide entertainment to all of you guys who like photography, especially macro photography of small animals. Thank you
