With many of the wildflowers opening, it would seem all of the bees and butterflies have come from far around to visit them. I see all different kinds on the flowers, some big and some small. Some with lots of color and others quite plain. I captured pictures of the ones that stayed still for long enough to get some good stills. It was great seeing the flowers come up and getting all that attention from the near by insects.

I switched back and forth between short videos and pictures. Made some GIFs out of the best captures.
The wildflowers are coming along quite nicely just about every where I threw the seeds. It helped to till up the ground first and then just add the seeds.
The western side seems to be the most happy, I guess all that afternoon sunlight is just what they want.
This moth like butterfly is visit a pink flower that came up.
I get a little closer before it flies away.
The next one is a little bigger, with some orange and white colorings in its wings.
A shot looking through the wildflowers, they look so happy.
Its great to see all the different kinds coming up.
I spotted a butterfly from a far but by the time I got close it flew away. But I got one shot of it from a far before it flew away.
Though if you just wait around for a minute more will show up. Some are more shy than others.
A bee also showed up to get some tasty nectar and pollinate the flowers at the same time. Hopefully when they drop their seeds it will be fertilized because of the bees help.
A short GIF of a butterfly probing for nectar.
Looks like something got this ones wing, also its eyes have an interesting pattern to them.
It was on the larger side and hung around long enough for me to get a few pictures.
Moving onto another flower I found a similar looking butterfly.
Seeing its pattern on its back of its wings was quite cool.
It would seem these flowers are buffets for these bugs, they go to each and have a taste of what the flower has to offer.
Wonder which one tastes the best, probably depends on the bugs liking.
A few of the flowers were in the shade, but that did not stop the bugs from feeding on the flower nectar.
Sometimes they would get little spooked when I got close with the camera.
But then they would return to the flower to keep feeding.
This one let me get a few shots before it left.
It was mostly butterflies but with a few bees mixed in.
They walk from flower bud to bud seeing whats left to feed on.
It seems like every color is covered here, from reds to oranges to purples and yellows.
I like the antennae of this one above, they have these little knobs on the end.
Seems like it found something tasty to feed on.
Over time it would walk all over the flowers surface feeding on the buds inside.
Got one more shot before it left.
A short GIF of one of the bees feeding on a yellow wildflower.
Some of the unopened buds were cool to see.
A few of the flowers just starting to open.
Really happy with how the flowers are coming up around the green house.
As well with the storage shed, not only they are pretty they serve a purpose by locking in the soil protecting from erosion.
I finally moved the batteries out of the thick patch of wildflowers, but will soon have to move it again. I did not realize these plants would get so big, but its okay they can get a lot taller before they are an issue.
Was a lot of fun coming outside with my camera to capture some shots of all the things feeding on the wildflowers. Using my new camera the GH6 was a lot of fun. I need to try out some of the other settings soon. But it was great getting some pretty macro shots with it at the moment.

The flowers look great, man. You did a good job with your camera. Yeah, the flowers probably taste different depending on the type of insects. I think rose has a nice flavor hahaha 😂😂
I took a photo of this fly on a flower a few weeks ago.
Thanks, I will try to do more nature posts with my macro lens when I can.
Oh pretty flowers, we have some like that.. I think they are daises.
Wow that looks so beautiful 😍, you do have a amazing camera 📸 👌👌. Thanks for sharing 🎉.

Unopened buds is my favourite...the lining on the outer shell looks so good....nature is beautiful with so many vibrant colour. It houses the butterfly and makes the surrounding so beautiful...
Yeah that one really caught my eye, it should be really pretty when it opens.
i thought the flower is only in my area, and similarly there are so many butterflies looking for honey in the flower, your first shot is so beautiful
Oh yeah? I have lots of them. Both the flowers and butterflies.
thanks much.. glad you liked it.
That's a great camera and lens combo you're using, you got some really cool shots. Every time I see the green out there back east it makes me miss it, right up to the point that I remember the noreasters in Philly, man they sucked! You got a beautiful patch of heaven going on there!
I never realized so many moths were pollinators too. Thanks, I learned something new today!
Yeah that macro lens is quite nice, its my first DSLR macro so its been quite fun.
The green is quite nice, I grew up in the city so its a nice chance being out in the country now.
Yep they sure are, usually are do so at night. But at least one is a day time bug too.
I may need to pick me up one of those! Nice toy!
great closeups!!
thanks a lot
Beautiful pictures but it seems to me like it was just yesterday when you planted them, I guess I blinked, time flies.
Do you still have the bees that you built the homes in wood for?

thanks, yeah I planted them a month or so ago... so they are moving quick.
I have the bee boxes but the colony left the boxes. So I would need to attract new ones.
Yay! 🤗
