Hello Hivers! Today, I am sharing something different from Bangladesh. In this post, I have shared some photos, each with its own story. Although the endless natural beauty of Bangladesh is not featured in the post, the protectors of this beauty are highlighted in this images. I want to mention upfront and ask for your forgiveness, as I am not a professional photographer. Without further ado, let's begin today's special project:
"Immersion of the Goddess" in Durga Puja
Durga Puja is a major festival for the Hindu community. It is celebrated throughout Bangladesh. This festival primarily spans three days. On the last day, the festival concludes with the immersion of the Durga idol. The picture was taken on the day of the immersion. In the photo is my aunt, who had played with colors and then went for the goddess immersion.
Carefree Childhood
The above picture was taken while in motion. The little child is returning home with his grandmother in his toy car. I called out to the child from behind, and as soon as he heard me, I took the picture. After finishing the photo, I showed it to them, and they framed it as a keepsake.
Child in Father’s Arms
This picture was taken during a meeting where a father is holding his child. The meeting was very important for the father, yet his child was comforted by the father’s tender affection.
Brother and Sister
They are siblings. They were having breakfast when I was passing by on my way to the store. That’s when I captured the photo. They were overjoyed to see their reflection.
An Elderly Beggar
She is a beggar, and I often run into her. She mainly begs in the city. He is always cheerful. The funniest thing is that whenever she sees me, she offers to treat me to a meal at a hotel, which deeply touches me. When I meet her, I engage in conversations, trying to help solve his problems. May the Creator grant him a long life. When I asked to take her picture, her smile doubled.
Finally, Me
Holding on to the Past Era
This is me. With long hair, a mustache, and a towel draped over me, I’ve tried to embody the essence of an older era. We are now very modern, and our memories of the old times no longer captivate us, which is truly saddening. I took this cinematic shot while posing.
Anyway, I extend my thanks to all photography lovers for reading the stories behind my photos. I don’t know how fluent my language and photos were, but I’ve tried from my artistic side. Your inspiration will motivate me for future posts. It’s unfortunate that my account isn’t very rich in reach, but I hope you’ll help me. Please forgive any mistakes. Wishing everyone a long life, I conclude this post.
