Hello dear Photography Fans,

Many who know our account know that my husband created it initially and used for his photography later on when I started to do post my paintings on @stef1, he decided to create separate account @myskye that he used for short time but because of being too busy stopped doing anything there nowadays we simply using one account to share Painting and Photography.

Today I wanted to share the photography that is done by my husband @myskye. From very young age he was very interested in Photography that is why he had so many different photo cameras starting with old camera of his grandfather that is still somewhere at home. Although nowadays nobody is using an old equipment due to difficulties to get appropriate materials but also due to high resolution of modern cameras but still we value the old pieces for two reasons one because it was a part of the past of our family members on other hand it is a part of history too.

While in his life he went through having film cameras to digital and also many different companies. Since end of 80s-beg. of 90's he was very interested in Macrophotography and of course spent time capturing everything that was small but interesting such as flowers but also insects.

Of course we all know that the subject taken close will not be possible to get into focus all the parts with similar quality but once when we saw the photos of Brian @brianhphotos that made us to stun. The way how he gets such effective photography is Focus stacking when you make hundreds of shots with different focusing and then merge some of them to create one perfect image.

There are wonderful tutorials on @brianhphotos blog how to do perfect Focus Stacked picture and @myskye finally could not stand and bought such camera:

….. a used Olympus E-M1 I and a used Zuiko ED30mm f3,5 Macro

The images here are the first experimental that was done 2 years ago, therefore I wanted to share them with you today. It is funny that when this flower would be captured in simple way it would not be looking so beautiful like on our picture.

Great focus stacking. I look forward to see more.

Spring is the best time for such focus stacking hope to have more opportunities :)

hello stefy... how nice it is to see you here . greetings... following you

Hi @lourdeshd6, thank you and it is also nice to see you again, I am glad that you are doing well and active here :)

WOW! I love the focus-stacked photography and these are really well done. The clarity is impeccable! Thanks for sharing the beauty with us!

Hi @castleberry, nice to hear that, as you know when starting something new it is important to have successful first results, that usually motivates us. In this case I think the choice of black background also played a great role creating a contrast to orange. I really love the result, especially those little holes on petals of a flower :)

I totally agree! I think the black really set things off in a great direction. If this is your first time or a new approach... your future in this area is looking VERY PROMISING! hahaha Keep up the great work!

Thanks, with coming spring there will be more opportunity to experiment. It was nice to hear your supportive words :)

You are very welcome. I look forward to seeing more of your work!

It is nice to hear such feedback, starting something new is always very difficult, especially when someone would like to achieve the best results :)
