Another foggy morning at the lake. New look without any ice on the surface leading to some reflections.
Earlier this week the clouds were a little lower and there was still significant ice on the lake. Interesting narrow view between the clouds above and the ice below.
The warm weather has been forcing the ice to retreat all week.
By yesterday, the lake was completely clear of ice.
Back to this morning's #wednesdaywalk (hosted everyweek by @tattoodjay ) the fog was starting to rise but was caught on the mountains and in the reflections on the water.
On still mornings like this, the water is a mirror.
I like shots of the cabins along the lake when taking reflection photos. The camps add color especially the colorful adirondack chairs, kayaks and canoes. Have a great Wednesday and take a few minutes for a #wednesdaywalk 🙂
The natural beauty is quite beautiful.
Thanks 🙏🙏
It is very pleasant to live on the shore of such a lake.
Thanks. I live a short walk away but near enough I go down to the lake almost everyday.
I'm in the Laurentians to ski, and snow is scarce here too, especially since it's raining.
Have a great day
We are getting the rain too. You can always have a beer and a soak in a hot tub ♨️
That's exactly what I do 😀
Its fun getting different shots like this as the weather changes, looks like a great place to be!
Thanks! It makes the walk to the lake interesting everyday 🙂
It's getting warmer over there, yay! 😊 With a bit of blue in the sky it looks like another place 😊
Thanks! that other place is summer 😎 can't wait haha
