Pemetic Ridge Trail, Acadia National Park near Bar Harbor, Maine.
Last month we hiked up to the peak of Pemetic Mountain which is 1248 ft above sea level.
The route we took was about 4.5 miles. There is a decent climb but mostly an easy hike. One point on the trail had ladders to decend through a ravine. Not technically challenging but interesting haha
The views from the peak are awesome.
The peak is basically a rocky outcrop above the forest.
You can see most of Mount Desert Island and Acadia National Park to the west.
The views to the east extend all the way to the coast. It was a great late season hike 👍
a beautiful place to reflect.
Sweeping views like these do make you reflect on your place in the world.
Great views fron top... I'm going to make a note of this walk if one day I'm in the area, I like easy hikes 😀
Have a great Sunday
Thanks. Its not too far from your part of the world. Plus good lobster to reward yourself for the effort when you get back from hike.
With a lobster roll afterwards, perfect

Acadia is definitely on my list to do soon. (well, not until spring!)
Definitely not until spring 🙂 I think we caught about the last weekend I would risk the weather.
