9F this morning. 12-16" of snow coming tonight. Snow cover getting deep. Sent me searching for some summer pictures.
Flowers are one of my favorite summer things.
And of course the lake.
We also put a lot of time into gardening.
And hiking. This view is actually from California. Morgan Territory Regional Preserve looking west into the San Ramon Valley. Looking forward to warm weather.
Yes, it's good to have a few photos of beautiful summer or spring days... especially between two snowstorms.

Just today as we are watching it snow outside, we started sorting through seeds to get some started for the spring. We grow everything from seeds so you have to get a head start because the growing season is so short. We have grow lights and heating pads in the garage on some shelves.

I do the same. All from seeds and I help with growing lights. The days are way to short here to start otherwise.
This season I won’t be starting any… as we are gone from April to July.. a shame as this time the beds are ready hahaha not like last season I had to create it all first in May and June after the snow was gone. I will seed some outside when I get back like salads and other things that grow fast.

The warmth can't arrive soon enough. Though all my relatives in AZ say its already too hot over there.
No need to threaten me with AZ haha I will go back to enjoying the snow. Vermont is nice in the summer only a few weeks out of the year that you need AC. Over course the mosquitos keep you indoors but that can be managed somewhat
Oomph yeah and believe it or not there were plenty of mosquitos in AZ. Though compared to the clouds of mosquitos in the far north they were nothing. Gotta get one of those backpack vacuums to clear them out.
For a minute there while looking at your header and before clicking and reading your post I thought you found that flower flourishing within the snow.
