Lake Dunmore is starting to have some ice. At least in the shallows. The rest of the lake is covered with geese 😆
In the low light, I was set up to get shots of the geese they are pretty wary. They stay out in the middle of the lake.
Geese are either gathering up here before heading further south or just stopping off for a rest before continuing on.
Its a sign of the start of winter. We see them on the lake, see "V"s flying in the sky and hear the incessant honking. But they pass through pretty quickly.
There was a little more light on the way back from our morning walk. Have a wonderful weekend 🙂
So beautiful the reflections in the water from the trees.
The light is wonderful.
Thanks for sharing, have a great Saturday!

Is it solid enough to skate yet? The lake near me froze then thawed again as it was raining all night. I think I see some fog rolling off the surface farther back on the lake.
No skating. The deep part of the lake is wide open. Fog and geese back there 👍
Nice shots, the changing of seasons always presents great opportunity for some photos.
