It's nice to be able to share your passion for photography with your daughter.
Customers can be a pain in the ass for sure , that is probably why i stick mostly to naturephotography , i personaly don't have the patience to deal witth people that well .
But i do prefer the spontaneity in a portrait shoot rather then the static poses.

I had a few clients that really turned me off from doing family portrait sessions. Now I am very select of who I do portraits for.
yeah some really can drain your energy , for me it's just a hobby but if you have to pay the bills with photography it can be a hard choice .
