Hoy les estaré contando cómo fueron los preparativos y el día de celebración para que mi mamá y mi abuela pasaran un día muy especial, ya que, como ustedes saben, yo las adoro con todo mi corazón y su felicidad es mi prioridad. En vista de que no he podido publicar mucho por culpa de mis exámenes y entregas de la universidad, les estaré contando un resumen de todas las actividades que hicimos del día de las madres. Sin más qué decir, ¡empecemos!
Greetings to all my dear hive friends, I hope you are well and that you have had a happy Mother's Day in the company of the queens of your homes. Today I will be telling you about the preparations and the day of celebration for my mum and grandmother to spend a very special day, because, as you know, I adore them with all my heart and their happiness is my priority. Since I haven't been able to post much due to my exams and university deliveries, I will be giving you a summary of all the activities we did for Mother's Day. Without further ado, let's get started!

Para poder darle un bonito regalo a mi mamá y a mi abuela se requirió unos días de planificación. Primeramente empecé a hacer una lista mental de las cosas que les gustan a ellas, pero, aparte de sus gustos, también pensé en sus necesidades, ya que me parece que la utilidad de un regalo también es muy importante. Pensando y pensando, me recordé de que a mi mamá le gustan muchos los champú en seco para su día a día, es decir, un aerosol muy práctico que refresca el pelo automáticamente. Esto fue lo primero que anoté en la lista para mi mamá, así que contraté a mi papá para que me llevara a la localización de una tienda online donde tenían este producto a un precio económico en comparación a otros sitios, ya que en las farmacias estaba desde 10$ en adelante, pero en la tienda de esta chica estaba en 6$. Una vez tuve este producto, ya tenía la primera parte del regalo. Faltaba la siguiente.
To be able to give a nice present to my mum and grandmother took a few days of planning. First I started to make a mental list of the things they like, but, apart from their tastes, I also thought about their needs, as I think that the usefulness of a gift is also very important. Thinking and thinking, I remembered that my mum likes a lot of dry shampoo for her day to day life, i.e. a very practical spray that automatically refreshes the hair. This was the first thing I wrote down on the list for my mum, so I hired my dad to take me to the location of an online shop where they had this product at a cheap price compared to other places, as in the drugstores it was from 10$ and up, but in this girl's shop it was at 6$. Once I had this product, I had the first part of the gift. The next part was missing.

Después de pensar un rato, me acordé de que mi mamá y mi abuela también requerían de unos audífonos prácticos para ellas, ya que se les complica un poco utilizar audífonos inalámbricos por su manejo; nuevamente contraté a mi papá como chófer y fuimos a una tienda de celulares y accesorios de celulares donde siempre hacemos nuestras compras respectivas a esto. Una vez ahí, elegí dos audífonos bastante bonitos y cómodos a buen precio; me gustó mucho esta parte del regalo y sabía que a mi mamá le gustaría.
After thinking for a while, I remembered that my mum and grandmother also needed some practical headphones for them, as it is a bit difficult for them to use wireless headphones because of their handling; again I hired my dad as a driver and we went to a mobile phone and mobile accessories shop where we always do our shopping for this. Once there, I picked out two rather nice and comfortable hearing aids at a good price; I really liked this part of the gift and I knew my mum would like it.

Luego de esta parada, ya el regalo de mi mamá estaba completo; sin embargo, luego les contaré cómo organizamos esto. Por otro lado, todavía faltaba el regalo de mi abuela; ella es muy coqueta y le gusta el maquillaje y las cremas para cuidarse la piel, así que fui a Farmatodo donde traen algunas marcas económicas de maquillaje y también de productos para cuidar la piel. Elegí una máscara de pestañas para otorgar volumen, una sombra para definir las cejas y una crema anti-arrugas que a ella le gusta mucho; esta compra salió a un muy buen precio y todavía me quedó un poco de dinero para colocar estos detalles en un regalo.
After this stop, my mum's gift was already complete; however, I will tell you later how we organised this. On the other hand, my grandmother's gift was still missing; she is very flirtatious and likes makeup and skin care creams, so I went to Farmatodo where they carry some inexpensive brands of makeup and skin care products. I chose a mascara to give volume, a shadow to define the eyebrows and an anti-wrinkle cream that she likes a lot; this purchase came out at a very good price and I still had some money left to put these details in a gift.

En la tarde de este día, mi mamá y yo fuimos a compartir a una pastelería excelente de mi pueblo que se llama El Bombón; ahí, ella y yo, que la verdad somos las dos personas más unidas de la casa, compartiendo un Cheescake (para mí) y un Pie de Limón para mi mamá, quien estaba realmente contenta todavía sin saber los regalos que le tenía preparados.
In the afternoon of this day, my mum and I went to share an excellent bakery in my town called El Bombón; there, she and I, who are really the two closest people in the house, shared a Cheescake (for me) and a Lemon Pie for my mum, who was really happy even without knowing the gifts I had prepared for her.

El sábado llegó el día de organizar todos los detalles en un arreglo; al principio planeaba meterlo todo en una cajita, pero sin más ganas de guardarlo en secreto le conté a mi mamá las cosas que le había comprado; le pedí que fuéramos a una tienda de regalos para darle la sorpresa a mi abuela de una manera más bonita y detallada, y a ella también. Ella me apoyó por completo; fuimos juntas a una tienda de regalos donde tenían unas lindas cajitas con temáticas del día de las madres, y las muchachas que trabajaban ahí, con una actitud muy agradable, nos ayudaron a decorar las cositas y a dejarlas muy bonitas en su caja. Aunque mi mamá dijo en un principio que esto no era necesario porque estamos en confianza, yo insistí y al final el resultado nos alegró muchísimo a las dos. Las cajitas se veían preciosas. También le compramos una cadenita a mi madrina como un detalle del día de las madres.
Saturday came the day to organise all the details in an arrangement; at first I was planning to put everything in a little box, but with no more desire to keep it a secret I told my mum the things I had bought her; I asked her to go to a gift shop to surprise my grandmother in a nicer and more detailed way, and her too. She supported me completely; we went together to a gift shop where they had nice little boxes with Mother's Day themes, and the girls who worked there, with a very nice attitude, helped us to decorate the little things and make them very pretty in their box. Although my mum said at first that this was not necessary because we are in confidence, I insisted and in the end we were both very happy with the result. The boxes looked beautiful. We also bought a little chain for my godmother as a mother's day gift.

Una vez llegó el ansiado día, le entregué a mi mamá su regalo y ella se puso contentísima.

Luego de entregarle a mi mamá su regalo, fuimos a la casa de mi abuela a entregarle el suyo; ella se puso contentísima y muy sorprendida de recibir su regalo, ya que hicimos todo el esfuerzo para que no se enterara antes de tiempo. De hecho, le gustó tanto que inmediatamente se aplicó el maquillaje que le regalé.
After giving my mum her present, we went to my grandmother's house to give her hers; she was very happy and surprised to receive her present, as we made every effort to make sure she didn't find out before the time. In fact, she liked it so much that she immediately applied the make-up I gave her.
Después de entregar los regalos, a mi mamá se le ocurrió mejorar este día con otra sorpresa para mi abuela; una torta «milhojas», que es la favorita de ella, de la pastelería donde anteriormente mi mamá y yo habíamos brindado anteriormente. La torta estaba preciosa y tenía la temática del día de las madres. Cuando la llevamos a la casa, hubo un estruendo general de alegría en la casa porque de verdad que provocaba un dulce. Inmediatamente comimos esta torta entre todos: una excelente manera de celebrar el día de las madres.
After the presents were delivered, my mum thought of enhancing the day with another surprise for my grandmother; a mille-feuille cake, which is her favourite, from the bakery where my mum and I had previously had a toast. The cake was beautiful and had a mother's day theme. When we brought it into the house, there was a general roar of joy in the house because it really did provoke a sweet treat. We immediately ate this cake together - a great way to celebrate Mother's Day.

Realmente disfrutamos tanto que se me olvidó tomar fotografías lamentablemente; pero les aseguro que estábamos de los más contentos porque gracias a Dios tuvimos una celebración muy próspera. En este momento aprovecho de decir muchas gracias a Steemit, porque de no ser por todo el apoyo que recibo aquí no hubiera podido darle unos bellos regalos a mi mamá y a mi abuela, dos personitas que se merecen lo mejor del mundo y a las que me gustaría darle toda la felicidad posible.
We really enjoyed it so much that I forgot to take pictures unfortunately; but I assure you that we were very happy because thanks to God we had a very prosperous celebration. At this moment I take this opportunity to say thank you very much to Steemit, because if it wasn't for all the support I receive here I wouldn't have been able to give beautiful gifts to my mum and my grandmother, two little people who deserve the best in the world and to whom I would like to give all the happiness possible.
