Easter at the Zoo
The other day was a nice day our warmest of the season thus far and for a change it was not raining, so I headed out mid Morning to Buttonwood Park.
I parked by the zoo and decided to go in and check it out.
In the end I didnt stay there long for two reasons.
Firstly I seemed to go there when all the animals were having a nap and mostly out of sight
and secondly being such a nice day many parents had decided to take there young children to the zoo, was nice to see the kids and parents having fun at the zoo, the carousel and train were very popular that day I must say.
But I didnt take any cshots of those with kids on, as I am not as young as I used to be and am sure there would have bene a good chance of strange looks, or being accused of being a dirty old man taking photos of children, so I looked for other things to take photos of
and one thing the kids were also loving checking out other than the animals and rides was the fun Easter decorations they had out on display and thats what I will share today

then I left the zoo and walked around the park, looking for signs of spring and will get to the rets of hte walk at some stage

I love the first one, very colorful and funny! It's nice to see a zoo recognizing Easter, so many have shied away from religious based holidays which really is a shame because it all about the kids! They have so much fun with these holidays! I love the pictures, it's cute to see it all decorated for Easter. I do miss having little kids around who are excited for Christmas and Easter...
the Kids werre loving it was the busiest I have seen the zoo for ages, perhaps becaus eit was the first really nice day we had had for a while

What a fun way to spend Easter! I was expecting animals since it was at a zoo, but the surprise twist made it even better. The vibrant decorations and that burst of sunshine really brought the whole vibe!🐣
Happy Easter (almost) Easter falls on my birthday this year as it does occasionally. None of us are getting any younger 😊

Yeah it's an awkward moment when you were taking pictures for a blog. Only to have the end result of having the cops called on you. Because someone accused you of taking pictures of the kids. It happens to me once when I was writing a blog about a classic ice cream store in our area. In hindsight I should have told the owners what I was doing. Maybe I would have saved myself some annoyance.
