More of the Ford Mustang Shelby's
Following on from Tuesdays Post I am going to share a few shots of the three Shelby Mustangs that were at the Car show as part of the Whaling city Festival in Buttonwood Park.
As I mentioned I went there as my Sons brother in Law was going to attend this show with his Shelby, and a couple of his friends from a car club, which I guess is a Mustang Shelby Car club came along as well
One had this Mustang

A little but about the Shelby
The Shelby Mustang is a high-performance variant of the Ford Mustang built by Shelby American from 1965 to 1967 and by the Ford Motor Company from 1968 to 1970.
In 2005, Ford revived the Shelby nameplate for a high-performance model of the fifth-generation Ford Mustang
And this is the other one, I also met my wife's Son and his wife there, they came along as well and spend a good part of the day there

.The cars all look great. What I'm most curious about is the sound coming from their engines. I'd love to have a car like that. I hope I'll have one in the future. The dog looks so cute. Have a greay day!
Ohh I can tell you they sound so powerful
But I just imagine how much gas they must use especially at the prices these days
But I guess if you can afford the car you can afford the gas
First I'll reach the level where I can afford the car, then I'll think about the gas price. I just watched it on youtube and it sounds really great. I love this powerful sound.
That’s a good way to be
I do like these ones but I think the classic early models were the best
Just so cool @tattoodjay 😎🤩 I see you had lots of fun capturing those photos 😁
The moon with selective colour is my favourite today.
And the cute dog at the end 🥰
Have a wonderful Thursday today, enjoy!
Thanks for your visit
I took a bunch of photos that morning lots of other cars as well I will get to those fir future post
You are welcome @tattoodjay 😁👋🏻
That’s great, I will look out for them.
I've always loved Mustangs and I love all the added details on the Shelbys. Beautiful cars 🙂
I to have always loved them
Beautiful cars! I am glad that Ford went back to the similar style that made the car famous. Those Mustangs in the 90's were horrible. Actually, the ones today are kind of ugly too. I like the selective color in the one photo! That is awesome!
Thanks and yes I agree with you
I didn’t like the 90s models at all
I think if I was ever able to afford one I would go for a classic model not a new one
We used to have an old red Mustang sports, two door. I found it very difficult to get in and out of this car! Had no idea it was a famous sports car! We were still kids!lol
That’s another reason why I wouldn’t get one now so low and hard to get into as one gets older
WOW!!!
Who is the dog?
It’s a relatives dog he breeds them
A special car for ,,strong,, men.
Indeed
My husband would have loved that car show! We have a '67 Mustang still in a shop. It was supposed to be finished years ago by the mechanic. We even had to leave it when we moved!! But he also had parts for a Shelby. I forget what he did with them... Thanks for the photos of the cool cars!
Ohh yeah it was a nice show, the the Shelby's looked awesome
a pity your Husbands Mustang is stuck in the shop still, I much prefer classics to the new ones myself
Yeah, he is sad too. We will have to sell it without even seeing it since we have no plans to return to the US...if it ever gets finished!! It is such a long story... I wish there were some car shows here. There are very few vintage cars here. Apparently China came through years ago and bought up all the classics and gave everyone money for new cars!
That is so unfortunate I had similar happen in India I bought a Indian bike and was having it fixed back up to original condition and then had to quickly leave the country and never got it
Ohh these are wonderful!
I am not a car expert but I think these cars cost a lot. One look and that I could tell it’s not an ordinary one. And with upgrades, it will cost more.
Love car shows! Hope to see one one day and talk to the owners.
thanks and yes for sure these are not cheap, I think the base Price for the GT500 is over $100 Thousand, way out of my budget
Woah that’s a lot of money!
If I have that kind of money, I’d probably be wasting it on food and vacation 🤣
Ohh yeah me too and I’m camera gear lol
The yellow one is wild! I love the color.I don't think I have seen so many lined-up lies that ever.
Fun day!
My brother had a Mustang when he was 16 - bought second hand... He was so proud of it! They are all looking good!
I have to admit for me the yellow one was my least favorite, talking to the guys who owned these cars they were disappointed only three showed up there is over 300 people in there car club, and a bigger event recently they said close to 50 turned up, would have loved to have seen that
I love the photography technic so much. Your technic make these article so enjoyable to watch! ❤️ Amazing expensive cars.
Thanks your always so kind
