The weather is so messed up the world over, NZ got hit with a Cyclone and so much damage, my family that I heard from are stuck indoors luckily no flooding but no power

Friends and family in NZ have mentioned being indoors, no flooding fortunately, neither mentioned power problems, this might be regional.
Yeah Hawkes Bay where my Brothers and sisters are got hit pretty bad, lucky there all OK and dont have flooding in their houses, but all bridges and roads into the area have been damaged so they are isolated and no food in shops apparently a boat is due to bring in supplied soon
Not too good for the folks after last storm only a couple of weeks ago, hope food supplies get through soon.
I hope so as well, I spoke to my sister she was talking positive but I could hear the stress inher voice
Watched News Video last night on the region, it is devastating, one day food supply and two days of clean water, roads washed away. Thank goodness NZ is efficient with light aircraft, helicopters, many boats to ferry requirements once able to move around.
Surely is bad in places back there, the groups and public have really steppe dup in helping people and gettign supplies into places that were isolated, thanksfully
