Sublime and Beautiful Sunday
This post is for #SublimeSunday is inspired by @c0ff33a and #BeautifulSunday is initiated by @ace108.
Well even though in the mornings at sunrise somedays it is pretty cool down close to or below freezing point, we are seeing some lovely signs of spring here.
So on the mornings its a bit cool at sunrise or the clouds I see on the weather apps are perhaps not ideal for sunrise walks and photos, I have adjusted my time for my walk somedays to go out a bit later around 7:30 and visit some spots better captured with the light at that time, and as I mentioned in my Market Friday post one of those walks was around the Haskell Gardens.
In that post i focused mainly on the Greenhouses, but for this post I am focusing on the Magnolias trees and blossoms which are looking so beautiful at the moment
Starting with this shot just near the entrance path I took into the gardens and you can see the two colors of blossoms

and then these pinky ones.
as I was taking these shot sof the blossoms someone walked by me and gave me the look.
if your into photography you know the look , wondering what or why your taking photos, now I can understand that when I am crouching down for a low perspective, or taking photos of something people may not see as photogenic.
But when taking photos of these pretty Magnolia blossoms, I found it odd to get that look, seemed obvious what I was taken photos of and why, or perhaps it was me that weas looking odd and the look was at me and not at what I was doing LOL

now some of these shots would have bene nice with a clear blue sky in the background but the day I went there it was a grey sky

I was taking this photo yesterday 🔽 and was standing at the edge of the cliff. Above me was a suspension bridte over the gorge and when I looked op there have been about 7 or 8 women looking down on me 😏

Haha, yes, I hate it when people look down on me, but in this case I was below them 😆 and I think they only wanted me to slip and fall into the ice cold water, but I didn't do them the favor 🤣 !LOLZ

The water would have been too cold brrr, so I've been very careful because I don't think any of the ladies would have jumped into the water and saved me 🤣

Pretty shots tattoodjay. of course it was that you were just strange looking 🤣 us strange looking people carry cameras just to distract people from the obvious 😉 I kind of like the pink and yellow with the grey background. Kind of blank canvas feel. Also pink blossoms remind me of Japanese art with pink cherry blossoms which is often done with white or neutral backgrounds.

Love the magnolia blossoms! I think one of my favorite trees turned out to be a western magnolia. Love the smell of the flowers on them!

I love the combination of pink and yellow together, more the pastel versions I suppose, but your pictures are lovely, as always. I love the twig with the bloom unfolding and the new shoots the best. So lovely.

I love everything related to nature and its wonderful details, and I like this consistency in colors between yellow and pink. It showed harmony between them with a terrible east and came up with a wonderful angle for me to photograph well done.

The funny thing was a drive to a few parks looking for magnolias and was getting frustrated not seeing any
Then driving past these gardens I saw them and had to stop and take a walk

I don't think I've ever seen those yellow magnolia blooms. The magenta ones are "Magnolia Japonica" if I'm not mistaken, so maybe there are different colors of that same species.
