Have you ever tried taking photos of moving insects like ants? If so, I know you know the struggle. Maybe if you have high end cameras then it would be much easier. However in my case, I was using my smartphone (Samsung A50s) and my clip macro lens. I know the result wouldn't be that good, but I truly enjoyed it. :)
While I was hanging around my mama's garden, I saw a sole cute ant trying to go through the flower, orchid roots as well as some vine plant. I had fun taking photos of its journey, so I'm sharing the fun with you here. :)
So, please meet my friend. βΊ
I saw it first while it was struggling to transfer from one root to another. It was pacing back and forth. I tried taking a bunch of pictures, but these are the only decent ones from that part. hahaha
It found its way to the leaves, still going back and forth until it reached the flower part.
There were times when I thought it would fall down, but luckily, it didn't. It was quite enjoyable observing it and taking some shots. I'm glad to at least get some decent ones because it was really fast and my phone's camera isn't that fast to focus.
Then, it found its way on the vine plant... we call this alugbati in my language. It was more challenging because it wasn't only the ant's speed that was my enemy, but also the wind. The vine plant was too light that even a gentle breeze can make it move.
So, my "decent" pictures are almost not tolerable... I tried my best, though... and of course, I had lots of fun! π I believe that's the most important thing. :)
I hope you enjoyed this small journey with this little fella~! :) Until next time!!
