My daughter wanted to do a creative photoshoot, so after a day of brainstorming. I devised a plan for a "forest witch" themed shoot and knew a great spot for it! We went down to the abandoned ruins of an old power plant in Brantford Ont. It is secluded and being taken over by nature.
The plan was for her to pose and I would use a smoke grenade under her dress, which turned out to be more challenging than I thought it would be. The main problem was that I couldn't just set it off and walk away, I needed to be able to direct the smoke where I wanted it to go.
The solution? I laid on the ground behind her and propped parts of the dress up with twigs on the ground. After a challenging and fun afternoon we walked away with some good shots, and after editing them in a few styles I am very happy with how they turned out and more importantly so is she!
Such a creative photoshoot, loving how the pictures turned out😍❤️
