Light Painting At Sakura Trees

For one week in the month of May, the Sakura trees at bay front park in Hamilton Ont. go into full bloom and put on an amazing display of beauty, that draws in thousands of people every year.

This is the 20th anniversary of the city receiving the trees as a gift from Japan, so interest has been even higher than usual, making it very challenging for any photographer who wants to take photos of the trees without crowds of people. I spent a very long time waiting for a break in the people visiting, a break that never came. So I decided to come back during the night and light them up!
