Do you remember my post about our rice field? Well yesterday our rice plants have been harvested and been sold. But we left a few cavans for us to eat and today we are drying them out.

They are needed to be dried to make the grain hard before getting milled for eating purposes. Drying also remove some moisture in the rice grain so that it won't germinate when get stocked.

Good thing that it sunny today and the temperature is so hot. In a few hours time these palays will be dried enough and ready to be milled or to be stocked.

Helping me today with this task is my nephew Kenshee.

He is dispersing the rice grains using a big wooden fork so that they will be dried equally.

After his turn, It is my turn to do the job.
