Season's Artifacts in The Mountains: Zwergs and Blankets

Summer in the mountains comes in a strange way. It stretches for many months, sometimes hides under the fog, or even takes a few steps back. In one year, the peaks can be freed from snow, and in another, even the lakes will remain partially in ice captivity. These are mountains, another world, living in its own time dimension…

Wow - these pics surely win the dramatic landscape contest ! I love the snow arch and have always wanted to see one - we do get them here in Scotland, but the hike would probably end me ! Many thanks for sharing.

Wow the beautiful flower beds in the meadow! 😍

The snow grotto is incredible. There's such amazing variation in the landscape - I could wander in a place like that all day and be happy. The mountain meadows are truly sublime - it's so incredible how nature can architect something far better than our imaginings, taking our breath away.

I often long for a nomadic life. Perhaps the fleeting gives us the microcosm. I know my forest interludes give me tiny moments of freedom and escape.

Hopefully we will do a road trip to the snow soon and capture something differently special!

You really do get some mindblowing shots! Thanks for sharing!

Everything is good here! We are preparing for MidSummer celebration this weekend. I've been super busy since coming to Sweden and trying to balance out my time as best i can. I feel like i am always behind with my duties! hahha

I will try to get some art and/or photographs posted soon. Thanks for asking and hope you and your wife are doing well. I'm still waiting to see her masterpieces! hahaha

No we don’t walk somewhere like that with our eyes closed… for many reasons hehehe
What a contrast it is. The winter and it remains and the summer. Still showing you some snow… such a surprise.
The landscapes are stunning. So beautiful. Than the snow cave, brave you for entering this time.
Thanks for sharing @thenortherner I enjoyed going along… what a trip and views 😎😁

Beautiful shots! This one's my favorite! Amazing how plants like this grow in between rocks, I've always think they are special. :D
