Taking photos of the sky has always been so fun and interesting. There's just something magical about looking at clouds, how they change shapes and colors, always shifting into something new. Sometimes you look up and see a mushroom-shaped cloud, and you know a storm is on its way. Other times, the sky is calm, and it's perfect to just sit outside and watch the clouds float by, constantly transforming.
When I was a kid, people always told me to look at the clouds and try to spot shapes—like animals or faces hidden in the sky. I still do this today! For some reason, I often see dragons up there. Maybe the sky is trying to tell me something, or maybe I just have a thing for dragons! Either way, it’s always an adventure to spot something new in the clouds.
Over time, I started taking pictures of these cloud formations. At first, it was just for fun, but I soon realized how much I loved capturing those special moments when the sky seemed to be telling a story. Sometimes, the clouds looked so soft and peaceful, while other times, they were wild and stormy.
I couldn’t resist playing around with the photos afterward. I used Photoshop to experiment with different colors and shades, giving the clouds even more personality. It’s like giving them their own little makeover! Some pictures ended up looking like a dreamy sunset, while others became more intense, like a scene from a fantasy movie. I had a blast creating all these different looks.
I’ve gathered all my favorite cloud photos in one place, and I’d love to know what you think about them. Do they remind you of anything? Do you see any shapes in the clouds too? Maybe you'll spot your own dragons or something totally unexpected.
Watching the sky is like watching a living painting, constantly changing and never the same twice. It’s so simple, yet so mesmerizing. And the best part? It’s always right there above us, waiting for us to look up and notice.
As I look at the clouds, I’m reminded of a quote I once heard: "Clouds come floating into my life, no longer to carry rain or usher storm, but to add color to my sunset sky." Every cloud has its own beauty, even when it’s part of a storm. Maybe that’s why I’m so fascinated by them. They remind me that even on the cloudiest of days, there’s always something beautiful to see if you just take the time to look.
So, grab your camera, or just your imagination, and start cloud-watching! Who knows what shapes you’ll find floating above.
“Our mind is like a cloudy sky: in essence clear and pure, but overcast by clouds of delusions. Just as the thickest clouds can disperse, so, too, even the heaviest delusions can be removed from our mind.” – Kelsang Gyatso
With love, @tinabrezpike ❤️
Nobody ever told me to look up the skies and identify shapes, but I do it anyway and it's soooo much fun. I usually see Maltese dogs 😂 It could be because I love my mom's dog so much.
You have some amazing shots and believe it or not there are Maltesers in them too 😁
Thank u ☺️Clouds can really spark our imagination 😂 I still see lots of shapes, but as a child, I always saw something whether it was there or not 😂 I remember always telling my mom how she couldn’t see the monkey or heart I saw, so after a while, she gave up and just said she could see it too 😂 I was so persistent, insisting it was definitely there 😂
What I think? They are AMAZING…..
The pictures are great and I was able to spot an angry bear in one of the pictures😂😂
PS: Do you ever post boring stuff here? How are all your posts entertaining and adventurous😃
Ooh no, don't tell me this! I don't know how to react 😂 When I read this, I was like, my face turned red 😂 Thank you really for this, you are amazing! ❤️ and I really only see dragons, 😅I don’t know where the bear is 🤔
Rainbow ,clouds.... great Photography. Really like your work and these photos are just awesome. Whenever I got tired I just want to relax under such cloudy nature and feels better.
When we see clouds, it changes shape according to our mind, it feels.
Thank you so much. It's always so nice to lie outside on the grass and look at the sky, or when you see a storm coming :)
You got some really great shots in this post! I share your sentiments about clouds and it's pretty cool never to lose that wonderment! Thanks for sharing!
