RE: Quick weather changes.

Oh yeah, I know what you mean. I’m really not sure if I’m the crazy one or if it’s the weather. It’s freaking October, and one day it’s 10 degrees and I’m in my jacket, and the next day it’s 25 degrees, hot like hell. Then three hours later, it’s raining and cold again. I’m not sure, but it didn’t use to be like this when I was a child. I posted an article about these seasonal changes and how the last few years have all started blending together. And yes, maybe it really is because of pollution. I never believed in this before, but after watching so many different documentaries about ice melting and the giant garbage patches in the ocean... we can see that a lot of countries are trying to reduce plastic use, and Europe is doing a great job. I don’t want to sound mean or anything, but Europe is small, and we’re really trying. But if you look at other parts of the world, like India and China... they still use a lot of plastic, and as long as they continue, nothing will really change.

I agree with all that you mentioned, as in my childhood, things were very different. But then plastic was invented, and it changed the world. Paper wrapping of bought items were replaced by plastic, and ever since waste plastic began to be dumped in the oceans. So bad that one has to be careful of what fish to eat, as they are filled with plastic microfibers.
If only the bigger countries would learn from Europe and start to implement the control of dumped plastics, things might change, but I think that they fear the costs of cleaning up.
Such is life.
