Summer is officially over! Yep, we’ve swapped the flip-flops for boots, and now we’re diving headfirst into autumn. You know what that means? Gorgeous, colorful trees, and cozy sweaters. The leaves will soon be turning into those stunning shades of gold, orange, and red. Ah, what a sight!
But I’ve got to say, the weather pulled a fast one on me. Just a few days ago, I was still basking in the sun, swimming in the sea, and now… surprise! I get home, and it's freezing! I wasn’t ready for this! A couple of weeks ago, I was cranking the AC, and now I’m eyeing the heater. What happened to a gentle shift to autumn, huh? The temperatures dropped faster than a new phone release. I’m just sitting here, half-expecting it to start snowing next week because, let’s face it, Austria is either under water or under snow right now!
Right now, the trees are still holding onto their green leaves, but I’ve got a feeling they’re plotting something. Any day now, they’re going to drop those leaves like a mic at a rap battle. Will they turn those classic autumn colors, or will they just be like, naaah, and go straight to bare branches? Who knows…But hey, I’m here for it. Even if I’ve got to swap my swimsuit for sweaters, autumn has its perks.
First of all, no more mosquito attacks! Finally. Plus, with the cold weather, there’s way more time for cozy activities like curling up with a good book, watching the rain drip down the window, and let’s be real, baking like there's no tomorrow. I’ve got so many new dessert recipes up my sleeve. I just hope six months from now, I don’t regret all this sugar 😅 But seriously, the kitchen is about to smell like heaven for weeks!
The downside? Twice as many clothes. I mean, I went from wearing a swimsuit to layering up like I’m prepping for an Arctic expedition. My laundry basket is crying. But hey, nothing can bring me down, not even the cold.
Alright, enough about the weather. I just wanted to take a quick stroll down memory lane and share some snapshots from the summer. Let’s not forget how awesome it was! Sunny days, beach vibes, and, of course, the heat that had us all sweating like we were training for a marathon. Good times, good times 😊

This period is one of the most enjoyable one for me. The wait to see everything coloured in plenty of colors and have a more decent weather outside than crazy heat, it's always a go to for me!
Yes, no more crazy heat 💪 but last week was so cold, and today is hot…😂 And yesterday we were having storm with some crazy lightning 🤦♀️
