Picture this: Slovenia, a stunning lake, hot sunny days, and a group of friends having the time of their lives. This is how my vacation started. Days were filled with fun activities around the lake, and our evenings were magical. You could hear our laughter echoing as we played poker and other games, surrounded by friends.
But then, the unexpected happened. Last week, while having lunch with my brother and his girlfriend, we heard a loud crack of lightning. The sky darkened ominously, and suddenly, a massive storm cell appeared. My first instinct? Grab the drone and start filming! We hadn't seen a storm like this in ages. As the storm rolled in, we quickly took shelter under a roof. There's something thrilling about sitting outside, protected from the rain and lightning, and just soaking in the experience.
Just when I thought things couldn't get any more exciting, they did. Yesterday, we were enjoying a picnic with friends by the lake when, once again, the sky turned dark. This time, we witnessed a storm cell unlike anything I'd ever seen. The best part? We didn’t have to move an inch; the storm was right there at the lake. With the wind howling, I quickly launched the drone to capture this incredible phenomenon. I only had a couple of minutes because the wind was so fierce, and I could hear my husband yelling to bring the drone back. I managed to retrieve it just in time, avoiding disaster.
Experiencing these storms during my vacation was absolutely exhilarating. The pictures I captured are a testament to the wild beauty of nature. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed capturing them.
To end with some beautiful words: Life is full of unexpected storms, but it’s in these moments that we find our greatest adventures. Embrace the chaos, cherish the laughter, and always keep chasing those clouds.

Looking at the pictures, it really describe as beautiful disaster. OMG, even though the scene is beautiful we know how destructive it is. 😔
I couldn't believe what I saw, it was an unbelievable moment. We were actually in luck, the cell avoided us, but a few kilometers away, they were not so lucky. Fallen trees were everywhere, roofs of houses were destroyed, and it looked terrible. We could only hear sirens and firefighters closing the roads because everything was flooded and there were trees on the road. Terrible. Thanks for stopping by ;)
Oh.. it's a good thing that no lives are lost at that time.😊 You're welcome. Thank you for sharing the situation. 😊
