I continue the "big move" of my animals and prepare them for winter. Today it was the turn of our geckos. Actually, I can’t say that it was such a “labor feat”. Geckos are one of those pets with which, once you have arranged them well, you will not have problems.
Once a month I organize a general cleaning of terrariums. Daily cleaning and feeding takes no more than 10 minutes. This is if we talk only about leaving, because geckos do not mind "talking" to you at all.
The summer heat is in the past and the cold has not yet come. Therefore, now is a very favorable period to order live food for geckos. They eat crickets, cockroaches, zofobas. In summer and winter, the main problem is delivery: insects can die either from heat or cold. But now I can quite stock up. True, these are not the reserves that will lie quietly in their place. They also need a place to live and feed.
Another challenge is to keep the geckos warm. Like many in Europe today, we are forced to save on heating. Luckily I have a wood burning stove. I use the simplest option - I put the terrarium close to the warm wall. This works great.

I’m not a big fan of reptiles, but this gecko is very very cute!
