Hello dear @bluemoon!
Seagulls are so beautiful, I love watching them fishing and it is so sad to see them searching at the garbage...
They come to Bucharest??? 200km away? How strange. And I thought that it was strange seeing them at Stefanos' other village which is in central Crete, in an altitude of 650m and I would guess about 20-25km in straight line from the seaside. Pretty adventurous birds... I really hope humanity doesn't completely mess up with nature's balance, although the reality is discouraging...
I hope you are all well @bluemoon!
The seagulls have been in Bucharest for many years. Sometimes, when they fly over our house, I hear their cries and I have the impression that we are at sea. They are in all the lakes and parks in Bucharest but, unfortunately, they are also near the garbage dumps outside the city. In the parks, there are other water birds, mostly wild ducks. Probably it is because they don't find enough food in their natural living area.
I'm pretty well but this hot summer has kept me indoors more.
I am so glad to get a sign from you that you are well. Have a wonderful holiday!
That's a nice side effect actually!
I am so glad as well!
I have also spent a lot of time indoors this summer, although it was one of the coolest summers in Crete, both facts quite weird :) But autumn is usually more gentle!
In Romania too, it was the hottest summer but also the driest. Not a good combination.
We have so little left until autumn. Have a nice holiday and a rich harvest!
