The red double-decker buses are one of the most iconic symbols of London's cityscape. My first photo tour in the British capital took me to the famous Piccadilly Circus, where I tried to capture these traditional red buses and the evening atmosphere with my camera. In the end, I liked these four shots the most. In post-processing, I greatly reduced most of the other colors to make the reds and oranges stand out more.
Die roten Doppeldecker-Busse sind eines der typischsten Wahrzeichen des Stadtbildes von London. Meine erste Foto-Tour in der britischen Hauptstadt führte mich zum berühmten Piccadilly Circus, wo ich versuchte, diese traditionellen, roten Busse und die abendliche Stimmung mit meiner Kamera festzuhalten. Diese vier Aufnahmen gefielen mir am Ende am besten. In der Nachbearbeitung habe ich die meisten anderen Farben stark reduziert, um die Rot- und Orange-Töne stärker hervorzuheben.

Aah, Piccadilly, I've been there quite a few times, digitally of course, in-game I mean haha. It was quite a popular map in Call of Duty Modern Warfare (2019), they did such a good job in designing that map and area in-game, almost felt and looked like the real deal.
As you mentioned, what really makes Piccadilly iconic are the red double-deckers, there's no question there; you spot a fleet of red double-deckers and you're instantly reminded of Piccadilly.
I hope to visit that part of London one day, got quite a few friends there, and a lot of our country-men too.
You did a great job in presenting Piccadilly I'd say, especially with the route you've taken with the editing. Highlighting the crimson double-deckers amongst the dark and busy surroundings, it just fits in a bit too well. Also a platoon of black cabs and cars at the back, just peeking through, they blend right with the color and theme.
Oh really? I didn't know that there is a map of Piccadilly Circus in Call of Duty. Looks like I'm not gaming enough 😅

Did you take the first photo while the evening time? Because the sky looked quite a bit dull than other photos. The road of Piccadilly is noticeable in beauty while browsing all the posts, the first image took great attention of mine. Yes, other images are as well the same vibes, you were able to put. The third one you captured from a unique angle. In fact, it seems to me the best photo among others. Were you capture the phone while the bus was moving or the bus was standing on the spot while capturing that?
Yes, I took all four shots on the same evening, around sunset, but the sky was overcast and it was even drizzling a bit. I think the bus was standing or maybe moving super slowly on the street.
I would say the shot was the best in my eyes.
