One of the things I love about Lensball photography is that you can always put a completely new spin on subjects that have already been photographed from every possible angle. The ‘Welcome to fabulous Las Vegas’ sign is probably one of the most famous signs in the world. In fact, it is so famous and so popular as a photography subject that it has its own bus stop and visitors queue for hours to have their picture taken with this iconic landmark. However, I had never seen a glass ball photo of this monument before and it was an honour for me to be perhaps the first to publish such a photo. I hope you like it and I wish you a great weekend!
Eine Sache, die ich an der Glaskugel-Fotografie liebe, ist, dass man immer wieder Foto-Motive, die schon aus allen möglichen Perspektiven fotografiert wurden, auf eine völlig neue Art und Weise in Szene setzen kann. Das "Welcome to fabulous Las Vegas"-Schild ist wohl eines der berühmtesten Schilder der Welt. Es ist sogar so berühmt und so begehrt als Foto-Motiv, dass es eine eigene Bushaltestelle hat und sich Besucher stundenlang in eine Warteschlange stellen, um sich mit dieser ikonischen Sehenswürdigkeit ablichten zu lassen. Ein Glaskugel-Foto von diesem Bauwerk hatte ich aber bisher noch nicht gesehen und es war mir eine Ehre, dass ich vielleicht der Erste war, der ein solches Foto veröffentlicht.
