So many wonderful shots here. On the one hand it's sad that there is no one living in these parts anymore. But as you mentioned, soon it will probably be renovated for tourists. Not sure if that makes ne happy though, as tourism can really change a place. It still seemed full of character though xxxx

Their is no doubt that tourism is changing everything and usually for the worst. But at least in this case there are very strict rules about the renovations and the buildings are restored to their previous look, on the outside. They will never be the same but the character of the town has been preserved. After all that's what they are selling to the tourists :)
