The dark clouds move past the orange reflection of the sunset, creating a very dramatic phenomenon. The reflection will change as the night progresses. For such a phenomenon, I think timelapse is the right choice.
I was able to complete six timelapse items this evening, using a 1-second interval setting for 600 images, resulting in a 20-second video per item. I didn't focus on taking photos, but I took a few before and after making the timelapse.
I'm sharing that 10-second timelapse here in GIF format after resizing. Actually, I want to share it at a reasonable size, but the platform doesn't support file sizes that are too large.
@AnzirPasai accompanied me throughout the making timelapse process, actually, we have the same goal. The location where we are is around the Pusong reservoir in Lhokseumawe, Aceh. We are exactly at the entrance gate to the border between Pusong Lama village and Mon Geudong. "Selamat Datang di Gampong Pusong Lama (Welcome to Old Pusong Village)".
When the sky is still light in the evening, the local community searches for livelihoods in the puddlese on the muddy tidal flats of the Lhokseumawe River. Some are looking for oysters and beach shells, and some are catching fish with a throwing net.
After completing the making timelapse shots and the darkness of night enveloped. To produce good images, I utilized the Bracketing HDR Images setting for taking photos, which I then merged with Camera Raw in Adobe Photoshop.
To make a timelapse and take photos, I spent time from 17.30 to 20.00. I enjoyed it and had a great time spending the weekend on this Sunday afternoon. I hope your weekend is great too!
