Hello, although I was on business in the city of Elena, I found time to take a quick walk in the beautiful Renaissance city. I managed to take a lot of photos that I would like to share with you. Let's get started.
Although it is still winter here, the weather is unusually warm for this Balkan region🙂I will start my tour by passing by this beautiful clock tower and of course I don't miss taking a picture of it
I grew up in this area and have always admired the skills of the old masters who built these incredibly beautiful and sturdy buildings
I can't miss the church in the city, which is very well maintained and beautiful. At the time of my walk there was a church service going on and out of respect I didn't go in to take pictures around the yard
Time was pressing and I headed for the car, hurrying through the city's stadium itself and through the narrow streets to the downtown parking lot.
As a finale, I will share with you this beautiful monument which is located in the very square of the city. It is in memory of those who died for the liberation of the city of Elena from Turkish slavery.
I hope you liked the photos and see you again.
Thanks for this post! I love these small old villages. I like the buildings made with different colored stones. These small villages are pearls scattered all over the world!BEER
