If you live in a seaside town, you are certainly used to waking up in the morning to the screams of seagulls.
Coexistence with these insolent birds in the city leads to a number of interesting situations. Most people don't like seagulls because they make noise and mess, and sometimes steal food steal food straight from the hands of passers-by.
However, others find them charming and consider them a symbol of Burgas. Tourists love to photograph seagulls in iconic places of the city - monuments, statues and fountains.
Seagulls are known to dig in the garbage, but they always look clean and their feathers are really white.
Sometimes you can see two seagulls fighting for food. It could be pizza - stolen by a tourist or fish caught by the sea.
Seagulls are very curious and like to land on the windows, sometimes knocking on the glass with their beaks, begging for food.
In flight, you can see how big the birds really are. Sometimes this seems unusual for people from other cities, who are used to seeing only pigeons, sparrows and swallows on the streets.
Baby gulls have gray feathers and look more fluffy. You may want to tame them as a pet, but that can't happen. Seagulls just don't like to be commanded because they value their freedom.
Seagulls are at war with cats, but I will tell you about this in the next post.
